The Redemption Campaign.

The Brief:

A campaign for the year 2020.

2020.

What a year.
Wildfires. Pandemic. Police brutality. Massive explosions. Donald Trump at his absolute worst.

During this year, everything we took for granted changed, shaking our world and filling us with worry and uncertainty.

Campaign Logo

The idea in a sentence

An everlasting monument dedicated to the year 2020, to remind us that hope can be found even in the darkest places and that chaos is destined to spark change.

THE MEMORIAL

All over the world, urban tunnels become “galleries” of 2020.
In each one of them, different artefacts are displayed like museum exhibits.

All of them have something in common:
They represent achievements that gave us hope, empowered us and restored our faith in humanity during 2020.

MEMORY EXCHANGE

As part of our international campaign, the Memorials from all over the world will exchange exhibits, sharing more positive things that happened in 2020 between countries and spreading hope and inspiration on a global scale.

FROM PHYSICAL TO DIGITAL

At the venues, visitors can scan the exhibits with an AR App to read more about the story behind them and share their favourites on SoMe.

Furthermore, since the social distancing measures are still effective, all the data of the exhibits and stories will be available online as well, for everybody to access it.

IN THE LONG RUN

Right now, it’s quite difficult to see the bright side to everything that happened in 2020.

However, as the years go by, every piece of The 2020 Memorial will contribute to putting this year in our collective memory as the year of hope, empowerment and social change.

VERY NICE!

THANK YOU :)
